Hey all. So its Friday eve. and time for the next chapter of the story from my side. Hope you will enjoy reading.
Recap: Aman was sitting with her in canteen when she tells him about Priyansh, a fellow student from different stream(major) who had proposed her 2 days back during the annual event in college. Aman tries to peruse her to say ‘No’ to Priyansh’s proposal and ends up admitting his love for her. Just then, before she could answer, his phone rang. It was Abhi asking him to come to city hospital, Vijay, a senior student and Abhi roommate has committed suicide, Abhi was with him in hospital. Aman rushes to hospital. At hospital, after some time as he gets out of the room to go to grab some coffee, he sees Priyansh inquiring for Vijay. Priyansh also sees him from the corridor and walks up to him.

Now let’s see what happened next. How did this undesirable and untimely encounter of the two went?
Room No. 307, City Hospital:
Seeing Aman Priyansh walked up to him. “Hey buddy. Is it Vijay’s room? How is he now?” he asked.
“He is still critical. Doctors are not sure if he would make it.” Aman replied in a low tone.
“Anyone from his family came?”
“Not yet, the hostel warden had informed them, they would reach here by evening.”
“Yes, they stay in their village home right! It’s a long journey from there.” Priayansh expressed his worry, “Just think what they would be going through now. I got the news from Michael you know. It was shocking. Then got to know Abhi is here so came directly.” He further added.
“Thanks for coming, Abhi is really upset. He is inside, you can go in. He will feel better if someone keeps talking with him.” Aman thanked him for being there. “I am going to grab a coffee, will bring for you too.” He further added.
“No, it’s okay. I won’t take coffee now. Don’t bother yourself.” Priyansh replied to Aman.
“Why he had to do this man?” Priyansh spoke to himself but loud enough for Aman to hear.
“Let him get better he can only say the truth. But we are suspecting its due to his breakup and not getting any job in campus recruitment. He was stressed from last few days.” Aman answered him.
“Hmm.”
“Why people have to fall in love in first place? You too have girlfriend?” He was looking directly to Priyansh’s face.
Not that Aman is against love, well he himself was one proposing love of his life just few minutes back. What he wanted to see was Priyansh’s reaction and to dig a little into him if possible. He wanted to see if he is serious. He had to. He loves her just so much, she meant world to him. Even in this grim situation he couldn’t forget about her. And that Priyansh had proposed her. But his questions proved to be of no use.
“I will see Vijay” Priayansh went inside, leaving Aman in corridor.
Fifteen minutes later, all three of them were sitting in the hospital room. Abhi just beside bed on a stool. Aman helped himself with a chair. Priyansh adjusted himself on the bed, in one corner near Vijay’s feet. He again looked at Vijay, unconscious, dull face, lips blackened (due to the heavy smoking he had be doing lately), wires and clips piercing his skin at multiple places. He felt bad for him.
“How can you say he attempted suicide because of breakup?” he asked.
“What else could be the reason!” Abhi said.
“Job or family pressure or something else? could be anything right” priyansh said further.
“Could be. But we think otherwise. If it was family pressure, he certainly would have shared with me. We are roommates, he used to share everything except about Riya. I don’t know why.” Abhi was serious.
“Moreover, some of Vijay’s friend were here before you, they also suspect the same. Its been around 2 weeks may be since Riya broke up with him. They were having fights too since past few weeks.” It was Aman.
Priyansh left after few minutes. Abhi asked Aman to leave too but he insisted on staying back with him. He knew what mental trauma Abhi was going through. Its been two years since Vijay and Abhi were sharing room, it was tough for him.
