About the book:
It is a collection of Hindi poems on various topics like Nationalism, Life, outlook of life, Women etc. The book consists on 26 poems divided in 5 sections. Namely – राष्ट्र प्रेम, जीवन दर्शन, नारी वंदना, मधुशाला, and श्रद्धांजलि . with ‘जीवन दर्शन’ (Life’s Philosophy) being the largest section containing 9 poems.
Thought behind it:
Almost all the poems in this book have a specific message for the readers. And as a whole the book tries to motivate the readers towards a positive outlook of life, to have compassion for fellow beings and lead life towards becoming a better version of themselves. That’s is what I tried to convey.
Did I succeed ? Well, your feedback will decide that. But, if the book succeeds to encourage even a single soul towards a better outlook, and inspire him/her to live in harmony, to have compassion, to practice gratitude, I will consider myself successful.
An Excerpt:
ख्वाइशें सभी सच कर ले
अपने शब्दों से खुद ही
अब अपनी तक़दीर बना
लिख कहानी हर हार की
सीखा क्या उनसे तूने, ये
पूरी दुनिया को सीखा।
संघर्षों को दे अब सही दिशा
प्राण कर, प्रयास कर
न हार मान, विश्वाश कर
लहू को अपने स्याही बना
कलम से अपनी प्रीत निभा
हार को अपनी जीत बना।।
