You call me a poet,

When there were no emotions.

No feelings, no bonding
No relevance or belongings
No attachments to anything or anyone.

Then came you,
Like a fairy from tales
And life happened to me.

Now a days,
I get driven by emotions at times
I can feel happiness, and pain too.

When I see you,
I feel my heart beating
I feel attachment, a belongingness.

When I am with you,
I smile, as i find peace, and hope
I see a place to be in, a purpose to live for.

Your sight, pleases my heart,
Your fragrance, soothes my heart
With you only, I want my life to thrive.

Taking with you,
Calms me down when angry, and
Doubles the happiness, when I’m happy.

With you I feel alive,
You compliment me in ways no one can
You complete me in ways no one can.

In every moment,
When I’m with you or think of you
You make me a little more human.

I seek you in ways no one can,
I love you in ways no one can.

It took centuries of contemplation,
It took me years to realise, and

For us, the path ahead won’t be so easy,

Everyday, I open my phone
See that one photo of yours,
On my worries it works like a cure,
Then thanking the almighty,
With a mild smile on my face,
Mind occupied with your thoughts,
And hopefull at heart, I go to rest.

But it rarely so happens,

It happens when I dream of you,
When i see us together, in a dream,

And in my solitude,

You not looking at me when I try to talk
You not answering when I ask about us,
You not uttering a word but ‘No’, and
Skipping events because of my presence,
All these strengthen my belief, that you too
Feel love, as i do, but cannot accept it yet.

But it is fine, yes it is absolutely fine
And you can take as much the time,
It took me years to accept this feeling
If you do the same, I won’t be complaining,
Now as I’ve realized, you, how much i do love
I’ll wait till last breath, upon us I won’t give up.

It won’t be called love if it comes easy
But by getting afraid of the difficulties,
Shall one cannot stop loving ?
Path of true love, has always been difficult
So will be ours, but if you remain by my side,
I promise, We will pass all the tests together.

Now it’s difficult
To get rid of you thoughts,
No matter how much i try
In memory lane, you only I come across.

Since that very day
You have become my bae,
There never passes a day, when
Away from your thoughts, I can stay.

I feel an array of thoughts
Running in an infinite loop
And them, I am unable to stop.

Since I told you
There never goes by a moment,
When I don’t think of you

And since then
To me it has been very clear,

She doesn’t understand that
I may appear living and smiling
Happy and prospering, but

I like the mild scent with which
The surrounding gets filled, oh dear!
When the breeze kisses your hairs.

With a cute but an annoyed face
You look at me, that sight is my favorite.

Those are some poems, verses, quotes that I wrote for her, about her.. These were my years of effort, endless constant love for her. And I continue to love her even today. Though she is gone now; she is someone else’s; there is no hope anymore. But I don’t know how to not love here, how to not care for her. I wish I could communicate it, make her understand while there was time. But I wasn’t good enough.. I continue with life as it is; one day at a time.
